-> Founding O2 member Kerul Dyer is in Southern Louisiana doing relief work for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Updates of her activities and experiences can be found on her personal blog site: www.kerulrelief.blogspot.com.
Kerul is working closely with the Common Ground Collective, who operate a clinic and convergence/distribution center in Algiers, across the Mississippi from downtown New Orleans.

forest-suspenders-1.gif-> Due to a back-door deal with the timber industry, over 2 million acres of Oregon?s national forests - managed by the Bureau of Land Management - are at risk. In collaboration with Cascadia Wildlands Project and Umpqua Watersheds, KS Wild Outreach Coordinator and O2 member Lesley Adams just launched an important new website at www.oregonheritageforests.org. This site is full of information and resources concerning the BLM?s history of forest management in Oregon, as well as ways to get involved in their current attempts to rewrite their entire Resource Management Plan (RMP) for all of Western Oregon.
